As April arrives, Hong Kong’s major electronics and mobile sourcing exhibitions welcome global buyers. For busy wholesale purchasers focused on mobile parts, screens and

components, arranging travel smartly means more time for business and less hassle. Below is a no-fluff guide covering transport, accommodation, food and light sightseeing

to maximize your efficiency.

【Transportation】

Hong Kong’s MTR is the most reliable way to reach exhibition venues, avoiding traffic jams during peak fair periods.

Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC, Wan Chai)

Take MTR to Wan Chai Station Exit A5 or Admiralty Station Exit C, then walk 5–10 minutes. Free shuttle buses run from major hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui,Central and Causeway

Bay.

AsiaWorld-Expo (near airport)

Take Airport Express directly to AsiaWorld-Expo Station in 20 minutes from the city center. Cross-border visitors can use direct buses from Shenzhen Bay or Huanggang Port.

From airport to city

Airport Express takes ~25 minutes to Central/Tsim Sha Tsui. Ride-hailing is convenient for groups with luggage, though slightly more expensive.

【Accommodation】

Choose locations based on your exhibition venue to cut daily travel time.

Near HKCEC (Wan Chai / Causeway Bay)

Ideal for business travelers: short walking distance, many mid-range business hotels with meeting facilities. Best for buyers with frequent on-site meetings.

Tsim Sha Tsui / Jordan

Balances convenience and cost, with easy MTR access to both venues. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Budget-friendly options

Mong Kok and Prince Edward areas offer affordable hotels with strong public transport connections.

Book at least 3–4 weeks in advance for better prices and availability during exhibition season.

【Food】

Quick, tasty and time-saving choices perfect for busy buyers.

Breakfast on the go:Pineapple bun, egg tart, silk stocking milk tea and breakfast sets from local cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafes) are fast and filling.

Lunch near venues:Food courts in shopping malls near HKCEC and AsiaWorld-Expo offer rice bowls, noodles, sushi and light meals at reasonable prices.

Local specialties:Try wonton noodles, roast goose, cart noodles and hot pot in the evenings. Most areas are safe and easy to reach by MTR.

【Sightseeing (Short & Relaxing)】

If you have free time after meetings, these nearby spots require little travel:

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

View Victoria Harbour skyline, a 10-minute walk from MTR. Perfect for a short evening walk.

Avenue of Stars

Close to the harbour, ideal for quick photos and relaxation.

Causeway Bay & Mong Kok

Combine shopping and local culture; great for a short break between business appointments.
